Albert B. Melone Jr.
Albert B. Melone Jr. is a Certified
Public Accountant and the Managing
Partner of the firm. Mr. Melone
has more than 37 years of public
accounting experience. A graduate
of King’s College with a degree in
Accounting, Mr. Melone began his career
with Coopers and Lybrand in Philadelphia
before returning to Northeast
Pennsylvania in 1972. Mr. Melone
has had extensive experience in auditing
school districts and it is from this
experience that he founded the SDBM
Consulting Services line.
Currently, Albert B. Melone Company
consults for seven public school
entities in Luzerne County. Mr.
Melone also has significant experience
and spends the remainder of his time in
the area of Tax Preparation and Advisory
Services.
Thomas J. Melone
Thomas J. Melone is a Certified Public
Accountant and has more than 27 years of
public accounting experience. A
graduate of King’s College with a degree
in Accounting, Mr. Melone heads up the
Tax Preparation and Advisory Services
Line and the SBAC line. Mr. Melone
also has extensive experience in School
District and Not For Profit auditing as
well as School District Business
Management. Mr. Melone spends much
time working in the SDBM line. Mr.
Melone also serves as the Human Resource
partner and is responsible for staff
deployment.
Albert B. Melone III
Albert B. Melone III is a Certified
Public Accountant and a Senior Manager
with the firm. Mr. Melone has more
than 10 years experience in the field of
public accounting. A graduate of
Penn State University with a degree in
Accounting, Mr. Melone began his career
with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in
Philadelphia where he spent six years
and was promoted to Manager. In
2004, Mr. Melone took a finance position
with International Flavors & Fragrances,
Inc. in New York City. Mr. Melone
was promoted to Director of Internal
Domestic and International Audit in 2005
where he traveled the world.
Mr. Melone returned to Northeast
Pennsylvania in January 2008. He
heads the ACS line and spends
significant time in the SDBM Consulting
Services line. Mr. Melone is also
responsible for staff training and
ensuring that all staff meet all
professional requirements.
